Where do we deliver to?
Our web site accepts orders for delivery to the United Kingdom mainland only. We are sorry, but we cannot deliver orders to the following postcode areas: AB31-38,41-56, BT, GY, HS, IM, IV, JE, KA27, KA28, KW, PA20-80, PA78, PH15 to PH50, PO30 to PO41, TR 21-25, ZE. This is due to the size and nature of some items and courier restrictions in these areas.
Deliveries to the above locations may sometimes be possible depending on what products are on your order. Please email email@example.com for more information and a delivery quotation.

How long does it take?
Delivery time varies depending on the products chosen. Lead times are clearly marked on the individual product pages. All products to which longer lead times apply are clearly marked in the product information section on each product page.

are usually sent on a next day parcel delivery service. All express delivery orders are shipped the same day for orders received by 2pm on any working weekday (Excludes bank holidays). Orders received after 2pm are shipped the following working weekday.
How do we deliver?
We use a combination of our own vehicles and third party delivery companies to make your delivery. The delivery method chosen by us will be dependent on several factors; the two main ones being your geographical location and the items that you have ordered. All orders are delivered on a weekday by prior arrangement. If your order is delivered on one of our own vehicles then we will give you a date and also a delivery time window so you don't have to wait in all day.
Smaller items and express next day delivery items may be delivered by a parcel carrier. For items delivered by parcel carrier we cannot give a time estimate. If you need a specific day please ask as it is possible to arrange a weekday of your choice. By default next day / parcel delivery items are shipped out as soon as possible and are not normally booked in by telephone. If your are not home when the company arrive, they will leave a card and you can call the number on there to re-arrange another day locally.
Can we deliver at weekends?
We do not deliver using our own vehicles at weekends. Certain products that are suitable for delivery by a parcel courier may be available for Saturday morning delivery for a £10 fee. This fee is in addition to any other standard amber or red zone delivery fees that may apply. Please email firstname.lastname@example.org for more details.
Do I have to signed goods as 'Unchecked' on delivery?
No, definitely not. Regardless of whether we deliver or if a carrier delivers on our behalf, please be assured that any paperwork signed by you is NOT your acceptance of furniture received in good condition. It simply acknowledges your receipt of the delivery. In the event of any problem, we shall deal with the issue regardless of you having signed paperwork. Obviously if goods are clearly damaged then sign the for the delivery as such. When you buy from us, you are assured that you are buying from a reputable family run business that actually cares about its customers' shopping experience!
1) If an item is delivery damaged or faulty we will supply replacement parts or a replacement item, at our cost.
2) For non-fault returns, we will stand the cost of the outgoing delivery and you will be charged the cost of the return delivery only, which varies dependant on the delivery method used and the number of boxes required to complete your order. For express courier delivered returns, details are as follows:

2 x Boxes Return= £31.06*
3 x Boxes Return = £43.38*
*For any surcharge areas (Red zone) there will be additional charges incurred. Please email our office with your postcode for further advice on this.
Please note these charges are passed on to you at cost and are what we are charged by our couriers. The charges are calculated including the return delivery, a third party collection fee, a 9% fuel surcharge & 20% VAT. As required by law, the outbound costs of the original delivery are always covered by us.
For Julian Bowen delivered products, the cost of returns in our green delivery zone is £30+vat (£36). Amber and red areas will incur additional fees. Please email for further information.
A Final Word of Caution!
Many Internet furniture retailers try to use the ' Goods signed for in good condition' small print to absolve responsibility, which is actually in contravention of the consumer contracts regulations. Always check who you are buying from and if they have this clause in their T&C's and (or) their delivery information then avoid!
