Due to this high oil content and in certain temperatures and humidity, a slight furring / blooming may occur on the surface of the wood. This can occur whilst the product is contained in its packaging during warehousing and transportation from the Far East. This is completely normal for high quality teak and is not a product fault. It simply wipes off with a damp cloth.
